Hey, if You like chocolate (and who doesn’t???) – You gonna love this mousse!
Super easy to prepare and voted ‘double deadly’ (worth killing for AND worth dying for…)
- 100g 85% (or more) chocolate
- 3 egg yolks
- 3dl heavy cream
Melt the chocolate over a water bath and let cool to room temperature. In the meantime, separate the egg yolks from the whites (save these for an omelet or something else) and whip the cream.
Mix the egg yolks with the cooled molten chocolate, be adviced that the mixture will thicken profoundly, and add the whipped cream a spoonful at the time, mixing well throughout the process!
Pour the mousse in portion sized containers and indulge!
This mousse is going to thicken if left in the fridge overnight, so consume immediately for best results. I can testify that there’s nothing wrong with the taste the next day, either, though!
